We are seeking an operational Thai business partner to join as a shareholder (holding up to 10% of shares, or more, depending on profile, motivation, and background). This partner will take on the role of Director and Tour Guide Leader for our English-speaking clientele. Responsibilities include participating in business operations and decision-making, conducting private guided tours, leading team-building activities, organising museum-based games, and delivering top-quality services and experiences.
A Thai national based in central Bangkok, ideally aged 25-35, with at least a Bachelor’s degree, fluent in English, possessing an entrepreneurial spirit, a successful business background, and references. The candidate should aspire to establish themselves within the tourism industry as an officially licensed tour guide and have a passion for outdoor and cultural activities. They will receive specialised training in the cultural experiences we offer as premium services.
The position entails a combination of business ownership, operational management, and cultural expertise related to Bangkok, within the context of the tourism industry. Here's a breakdown of the key responsibilities:
- Operational shareholder and director: As an operational shareholder, the candidate would have a vested interest in the success and growth of the business. This would involve actively participating in decision-making processes related to the company's operations. They may attend board meetings, provide input on major decisions, and collaborate with other shareholders and stakeholders to ensure the company's prosperity.
- Tour guide leader: The candidate would serve as a tour guide leader, responsible for guiding and facilitating tours for tourists visiting Bangkok and expats working there. This role involves providing informative and engaging commentary about various tourist attractions, historical sites, cultural landmarks, museums, art venues, and local customs, etc. They would ensure that tour itineraries are well-planned, enjoyable, and safe for participants, while also addressing any questions or concerns from tourists.
Overall, the key responsibility of this position is to blend business ownership with hands-on operational management and cultural expertise to enhance the tourist experience in Bangkok while contributing to the success and growth of the tourism business and the promotion of Thailand's capital city.

During the internship, you will be assigned the following activities and responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Strategy – Develops and executes digital content strategies across various platforms, including social media, websites, blogs, emails, and video.
- SEO & Analytics Optimization – Implements SEO best practices to improve content visibility and analyzes performance metrics to refine marketing strategies.
- Social Media & Brand Engagement – Manages social media accounts, creates shareable content, and interacts with audiences to strengthen brand identity and community.
- Visual & Multimedia Production – Designs eye-catching graphics, videos, and multimedia elements to enhance storytelling and engagement.
- Campaign Coordination & Collaboration – Works with marketing teams, designers, and copywriters to align content with broader marketing goals and campaigns.
The internship is a temporary period of work in a professional tourism and cultural environment. It aims to provide you with the opportunity to acquire professional skills and put into practice the knowledge gained from your education. This experience is intended to support your academic progression toward a diploma or certificate and to facilitate your professional integration.
Rock/Around/Bangkok will assign tasks in alignment with the educational plan established by your educational institution. This plan will be mutually agreed upon by us and your educational institution. The schedule will be organized to align with the general training program.

Business development (internship 3 months++)
During the internship, you will be assigned the following activities and responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate B2B and B2C sales segments.
- Develop a strategy and an operational action plan.
- Continue to build and maintain a database of qualified potential clients and partners.
- Attend business networking events organised by Chambers of Commerce and other relevant organisations within the target audience.
The internship is a temporary period of work in a professional tourism and cultural environment. It aims to provide you with the opportunity to acquire professional skills and put into practice the knowledge gained from your education. This experience is intended to support your academic progression toward a diploma or certificate and to facilitate your professional integration.
